"ALL ABOARD" The Polar Express Train Ride!
The Wensleydale Railway’s Polar Express Train Ride departs from Leeming Bar Station, Yorkshire and heads directly to 'The North Pole', travelling through the magical Yorkshire Dales.
Here's what it will entail.
As soon as you arrive, you'll be able to fill up on festive food. Think hot chocolate, mulled wine, and bratwursts.
You’ll step into a big marquee where the classic Christmas story by Chris Van Allsberg will begin.
At the platform, you’ll watch as The Polar Express pulls into the station – singing and dancing chefs will greet you with friendly waves.
Take your seat - it’s time for the magical journey to begin. Every carriage has at least one chef dancing up and down the carriage, with music and the classic Christmas story filling your ears.
Meet the iconic Conductor, who’ll ask to see your Golden Tickets!
What will you pass on the way to The North Pole? Last year the train passed reindeer!
You’ll be served rich, sweet hot chocolate, complete with cookie by the singing and dancing chefs, then Santa himself will present you with your first gift of Christmas - your very own silver sleigh bell.
Finally, stock up on last-minute gifts and merchandise at the gift shop once your journey’s over, at the magical gift shop.
