The cherry on top of this two-day break is a visit to Bakewell - the home of another traditional British delicacy: the Bakewell tart.

Melton Mowbray - A historic market town in Leicestershire nestled in the picturesque English countryside, boasting a rich culinary heritage and charming architecture. The town's famous pork pies are celebrated for their unique flavour and traditional craftsmanship, making Melton Mowbray a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts.

Bakewell - Another charming market town with a rich culinary history, Bakewell is nestled along the River Wye in the Peak District and is a hive of tearooms, quaint shops and historic buildings. If you haven't already - it's your chance to try the famous Bakewell Tart (or Bakewell pudding, the original dessert which the tart is a derivative of!).
